The large blood spattered shirt pointed to Carl Marks who did not have an alibi but the real piece of evidence that sealed the case was the fingerprints on the crowbar. This piece of evidence had been carefully observed and finally the lab reported that the fingerprints that were found on the crowbar at the crime scene matched Carl's fingerprints that the investigators had taken. When Carl was confronted and questioned about being a suspect, he broke down into tears. As he was being handcuffed, he confessed to killing three other victims that lived in other towns. Police called the other investigators of the other murders and told them about Carl, in which they found all their evidence linked directly to him. All murders committed by Mr. Marks were solved.
